Jill Jenkins (b. 1937) holds a Diploma in Contextual Theology from the University of Wales, Bangor. She is a member of the United Reformed Church, and an elder at the URC in Palmers Green, north London. She has enjoyed creative writing since she was a child and as well as hymns and prayers, a number of which have been published, she produces stories for her four grandchildren.

Her other activities include catering and church administration; her hobbies are reading, knitting and playing majong. She and her husband have homes in London and Northumberland, and spend a significant time every year on the Isle of Skye.
