Proclaim the Savior's birth.
2. Behold the Son was virgin-born,
By God's mysterious pow'r;
Into this world, by sin destroyed,
He came at life's dark hour.
3. The Light of life, incarnate Word,
The prophets did record;
Took on Himself the form of man,
That man might be restored.

And for our fallen race;
Upon Himself He took God's wrath,
